Our legal councel advised that we update our Bylaws as they are extremely out of date. They were originally written on/or about 1982 when Canaveral Bay was being built. There have been many, many updates to state laws that impact Condominium Associations throughout the state.
We have tackled this issue and arrived at the posted proposal. Please review. The Old Bylaws are also posted for you to review. Due to the extreme changes exceeding a word change here or there, or to replace a sentence, paragraph etc, was simply to expansive and expensive to accomplish. So we have provided both for you to review.
I am sure that you will find the new version easier to read, understand and provide in a sharable format, (our website), so as to be environmentally friendly and reduce our environmental footprint, lower costs and saving of paper.
Access to the Bylaws are open for all to review and understand. If you have questions, please submit those questions here on the website. We will be voting on acceptance of the new ByLaws at our October 22, 2018, annual meeting. That meeting will be held at the Cape Canaveral Polk St. Library, from 6-8pm. All member/owners are requested to be present or return their proxy voting authorizations prior to that date.
